The Concept

A pick'em pool is one of the simplest ways to make NFL football more exciting. Every week, players pick which team they think will win each game. After the games are played, whoever picked the most games correctly wins the week's pot — points staked by every player that week. Pick well and you win; pick poorly and your points go to whoever beat you.

No fantasy rosters. No waiver wires. No draft days. Just pick your winners, watch the games, and see where you land at the end of the week.

The Season

Pigskin Pick'em covers all 18 weeks of the NFL regular season. Each week, the schedule is loaded automatically — you don't need to set anything up between weeks. When a new week opens, players can start submitting picks immediately.

Pick Deadlines

When picks lock depends on your league's deadline setting. In most leagues, games lock individually at kickoff — so you can still update your Monday Night Football pick after Sunday's games are done. Some leagues use a stricter Sunday deadline, where all picks for the week must be in before the first Sunday game kicks off. Your commissioner sets this when configuring the league.

Scores and Standings

As games finish throughout the weekend, scores are updated automatically. The leaderboard reflects results in real time — so you always know exactly where you stand, who's ahead, and who's on a hot streak.

Who Wins?

Each week is its own competition — whoever picks the most games correctly wins that week's pot. The season standings track cumulative totals, and if the commissioner has turned on a Season Prize, the player with the best overall record at the end of the season wins a separate prize pot too. Pigskin Pick'em tracks the points; what your group does with bragging rights is up to you.
